Pottery hand building workshop: Cups, Mugs & bowls

Join me in this pottery hand-building workshop at my home studio in picturesque Port Sorell, and connect with your creative side during this tranquil experience.

In this workshop we will start by making 2 pinch cups with handles or hug mugs, and progress to a small bowl or condiment set for a platter. Together, we will craft your masterpieces using the slab building and or pinch construction techniques.

This is an excellent introduction to hand-building with clay, providing an understanding of the material and drawing you into the world of ceramics. You will be expertly guided through the hand-building process using either Feeneys Buff Raku Trachyte, a heavily grogged warm buff clay with trachyte specks that burn through glazes, or Keanes White Raku clay or a smooth white clay.
